Sheltered In The Arms Of God

There may always be those moments
When faith is sorely tried...
When fear attempts to resurrect
What has already died.

Buried are the doubts and yet
They stir beneath belief...
But sheltered in the arms of God
A soul can find relief.

Life in Christ is not a bridge
Away from grief or sorrow...
But God always paints a rainbow
Into each new tomorrow.

Proof of our Father's promises
Is Jesus has our back...
And trusting Him is all we need
When blue skies turn to black.

Yes, storms  of life will  always rage
But when healing has begun...
When every dark cloud has moved on...
We'll see the risen Son!!

Amazing is the Grace of God!!
Amazing is His love!!
 Mercies new with every morning!!
Hope descending from above!!

The journey may seem perilous
On this uncertain sod...
But Heaven is a sure thing
When sheltered in the arms of God.

~~Dedicated to my son, Tommy~~

Psalm 27:5
For in the day of trouble he will keep
me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter
of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.

Duet.3:22-23
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end; they are new
every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord
is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will
hope in him.

Deuteromony 33:27
The eternal God is your refuse
and underneath are the everlasting arms.

John 3:16-17
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son,
that whoever believes in him should not perish but have
eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world
to condemn the world, but in order that the world might
be saved through him.
