Sing a song for Ireland
The Island of your dreams
Sing a song of freedom
We know what freedom means
To live in peace, to walk an Irish mile
Fly our flag, we can do it all in style
To love and cherish everyday
To greet a friend the Irish way
The shamrock with three leafs of green
Thirty-two, the Irish dream
When peace becomes a way of life
The troubles gone, goodbye to strife
When Irish children play as one
Enjoying life, every single one
When the dividing walls come tumbling down
The bricks and mortar that secured our town
The laughter of children, just like Bobby said
Living as one nation remembering Ireland's dead
