It Came To Me While Doing Laundry On A Sunday Looking For Some Blank Space To Write In Before It Was All Gone...

(I LOVE THIS ONE...)

the piece of cotton grew up to be a string

and that strong little thread held together
everything
everything

you never gonna know who you gonna be
when you sprout up

(oh no  oh no)

never gonna know who or how or what
or why...
you gonna affect someone somehow in some kind of way
every day
every day now

all the people you be living with and
oh in what way
what way
they will just have to wait and see

in the morning saying words as the sun is up
the sky is overhead
the world
the big old world
"surely ain't finished with you yet"

so then let the light in

and shine shine shine....

We all have a light in our world
sometimes its in us..sometimes its in others.
Pray that we recognize it. Light is meant for that.
