Don't be afraid,
You can still make the grade,
But the lessons of life must be learned,
For that there's always a price to be paid,
Contentment must always be earned.
Life can be cruel,
But you must refuel,
Not everything will go your own way,
Be prepared, life's a very long duel,
To thrive you must have a say.
Be versatile,
Steer clear of denial,
Mistakes are a mirror to the soul,
Life is truly the ultimate trial,
You alone will play the main role.
Treat others well,
Give nobody Hell,
Treat others with love and respect,
What will happen nobody can tell,
Be careful with friends you select.
Don't ever judge,
Your problems don't fudge,
No one is superior to another,
From truth and conviction don't ever budge,
Lest the facts you may smother.
Learn from mistakes,
Give life all it takes,
Your future is for you to enhance,
You are playing a game with very high stakes,
Remember you only get the one chance.
A whisper can be heard,
With those close it's shared,
But sometimes they choose not to listen,
For your own future you must be prepared,
