Can you imagine being a shoe
And all the things people do to you?
They stick their foot inside your leather
And take you out in all sorts of weather.
They splash in puddles and wade thru` mud
And walk in things they never should,
They sometimes use you to stop a ball
And then they blame you when they fall.
They also use you to kick a stone
And when your sole is loose they then moan,
You`re often left all sweaty inside
With scuffed leather that you can`t hide.
You`re rubbed on a mat to get you clean
On account of where you have been,
This may seem fair if you are human – BUT
What if the shoe was on the other foot?
