-Cotton-wool- clouds By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
where in the world are you...
where would you like to be...
'midst all the turmoil
down on your luck
scrambling to find that deal...
where can you see yourself...
after the lights go down....
when all the mayhem
scatters at last
worries all put to bed...
what song will call your name...
what breeze will stir your dreams...
is it the mountains
is it the sea
stretching to endless skies...
dance with me one more time...
lest I forget your gleam...
call to me over
papers piled high
ads blaring from the screen...
sing to my heartbeat true...
carry me 'cross the sands...
take me to where the
cotton-wool clouds...
breath life through all of me...
