'' When Will We Ever Learn ''

Don't be afraid,
If you don't make the grade,
What that is anyone's guess,
Life is but a masquerade,
A game no more no less.

Winners and losers,
Druggies and boozers,
We're all part of a motley crew,
Some love to play the role of accusers,
Others do what they want to do.

A so-called elite,
Love nice and neat,
More money than they'll ever spend,
Never ever bow at their feet,
Like you they will meet their end.

A work shy minority,
Who hate authority,
They believe the world owes them a living,
Paid for by the vast majority,
Their lives ruled by taking not giving.

The genuinely disabled,
Being cruelly labelled,
To upset them the governments resigned,
A miracle test and soon they're enabled,
To the truth politicians are blind.

While they're on the fiddle,
It's us they diddle,
Every one of them all on the take,
Why we let them that is the riddle,
We starve while they eat steak.

Religion making millions,
No, change that to billions,
All in the name of their God,
Heaven must be where he stashes his trillions,
We can't see the deity for the fraud.

Ex armed forces,
Without any resources,
Tossed aside like old cuts of meat,
Looking for help there are no government sources,
We leave them to survive on the street.

Those who work till they're dying,
With the rules they're complying,
For them we do not show concern,
Pay your own way is the justice we're applying,
