For Emmanuel, the hero (1995-2015) By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
He was a young man, a friend, a son,
He once saved a life but now gone,
He tried... with strength and might,
He died... but lived as hero thru their sight.
He didn't say farewell to his mother,
He couldn't plant soft kisses to his sisters,
He stunned his friends by news from grave,
He is gone by harsh crash of waves.
He could have been working now 'til noon,
He shouldn't stroll on that Monday afternoon,
He should have chose to stay at the shore,
But risked his soul as worth dying for.
Maybe he had done the right thing to do,
He did the bravest thing that not all man can do,
He is kind to the point of sacrificing,
He didn't give his life for nothing.
He left by God's abrupt aim,
That finally, he would surrender the final game,
For he... who sacrificed to save other's life,
Now a drowned soul, submerged in memoir.
