Glasgow and Ireland

Glasgow and Ireland                     June 13, 2015

Glasgow stands united, together in the cause
Supporting Irish freedom, supporting Irish laws
We join Ireland in their struggle, united and free
We want a country of thirty-two, free for you and me
With the “Proclamation” on our wall
Glasgow and Ireland standing proud and tall
We can tell the children of tomorrow
Live in peace without the sorrow
Many heroes of the past with heroes of today
Gave freedom to our land, now we have a say
Mother Ireland a united nation with Glasgow by her side
Your flag will fly in Glasgow with freedom, justice and pride
Glasgow stands united, together in the cause
Supporting Irish freedom, supporting Irish laws
