Cost of love By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
No I'm not in pieces
No my heart is not in creases
I think you've misheard
Because it's absolutely absurd
That I would need someone
To be my shining sun
I am my own
As you are to yourself
This heart isn't shattered
Though it all mattered
I did love once upon a time
He made all my poems rhyme
With him love seemed spellbinding
It was absolutely mesmerizing
Yes it's true that I miss him
But that doesn't mean I need him
I have loved and lost
And perhaps that's what love cost
