The nations will fear the Lord,
All kings on the earth will fear;
For they have always ignored,
And have never been sincere.
So when the Lord builds Zion,
In His glory He appears;
He will be like a lion,
That will expose all their fears.
God will turn His attention,
To prayers from who abandoned;
And having no intention,
Backing what He commanded.
God will not despise their prayers,
Because what has been written;
Is showing how much He cares,
So the good are not smitten.
For this has been written down,
For future generations;
So they do not sink and drown,
When having altercations.
But it is for the people,
Created to praise the Lord;
Worshipping in the temple,
That He is loved and adored.
The Lord looked down from above,
His holy place in Heaven;
And wanted to show His love,
For sin has been forgiven.
He heard the moans and the groans,
From the captives deep in sin;
Their confession from their bones,
Set them free to live again.
God strengthens along the way,
Growing deep roots all my days;
For if I trust and obey,
Remembering Him always.
