Reflection On Racism
(In introspection of the South Carolina Church Massacre)

Nine hearts have stopped beating!
Nine lives are snuffed out!
Nine families suffer!
A city hurting, no doubt!

Such a cruel, callous killing!
Such a vile, senseless crime!
In such a sacred environment!
At such a God- reserved time!

A satanic intrusion!
A diabolic planned scheme!
But God's love and forgiveness
Must not flee the scene!

 Punishment is expected...
One must reap what one sows...
But, though hate was the motive,
Hate should not be exposed

In vendettas or vengeance.
It has no place in the mind
Of a born-again Christian.
God will deal with his kind.

This should be our agenda...
This is what we must do...
Clear our hearts of the clutter
The media brings into view.

Pray for lives this affected...
Intercede for them all...
Yes, even the gunman
Because, in Christ, it's our call.

Racism is ruthless!
Every person has worth!
Heaven's not segregated!
 Neither should be the earth!

Unity must be established
Like God intends it to be.
O, Lord, it's got to start somewhere
Let it begin here with me.

Sitting In Heavenly Places With Jesus

~~AUTHOR'S NOTE~~
The first thing to understand is that there is only one race—the human race.
Caucasians, Africans, Asians, Indians, Arabs, and Jews are not different races.
Rather, they are different ethnicities of the human race. All human beings
have the same physical characteristics (with minor variations, of course).
More importantly, all human beings are equally created in the image and likeness
of God (Genesis 1:26-27). God loved the world so much that He sent Jesus
to lay down His life for us (John 3:16). The “world” obviously includes all ethnic groups

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Epheslans 4:32)
Racists may not deserve your forgiveness, but we deserved God’s forgiveness far less.
Those who practice racism, prejudice, and discrimination need to repent. “Present yourselves
to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness
to God” (Romans 6:13). May Galations 3:28 be completely realized,
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

Deuteronomy 10:17
For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords,
the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who is not
partial and takes no bribe.

James 2:9
But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are
convicted by the law as transgressors

1 John 2:11
But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness
and walks in the darkness, and does not know where
he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

Proverbs 24:23
These also are sayings of the wise To show partiality
in judgment is not good.
