 once upon a time

Natures flow

Driving past golden fields of all my tomorrows

I'm reminded that nature flows gently along.

Why try to avoid the future let it collide with you.

Pastures  tilled and nurtured garner strength of spirit.

Although it's many years I've travelled these roads

these many splendid fields never fail to soothe me.

Winters cold gives way to springs new born haven.

Within summers mellow charm I'm held in thrall.

Now in the autumn of my years I doubt I'll ever tire

Of back roads glistening laneways and hedgerows.

Green and golden fields remain a constant future

Never will I regret the many years of soothing charm
