When you have a child,
And you have become old;
You will feel beguiled,
Having your life unfold.
Do not become corrupt,
And worship other gods;
Changes will interrupt,
And will be truly flawed.
I call Heaven and earth,
As a witness today;
On you showing true worth,
You no longer obey.
If you do anything,
That God says is evil;
Then you show you cling,
To that of the devil.
Then you will disappear,
From the face of this land;
And it is what I fear,
You stood on sinking sand.
It is without a doubt,
That you will not live long;
And completely wiped out,
For doing what is wrong.
So the Lord will scatter,
Through the entire world;
Like molecules of matter,
Through space that have been hurled.
You worship wooden gods,
As made with human hands;
Some stone and paper frauds,
Speaking with no commands.
These gods you never fear,
They cannot smell or eat;
And cannot speak or hear,
Or not walk without feet.
But look unto the Lord,
And do all what is right;
You will not be ignored,
As you seek out the light.
