Welcome to My Poetry Site

Planted many years ago,
three scores, maybe more.
She planted lilies in the ground,
these her favorite kind.

How she did love their scent,
placed in her special vase,
fresh cut when in their bloom.

She passed away, so long ago,
and yet she's with us still.

Fore every year her lilies bloom,
in the month of June.
The family has all been scattered,
caste from here to there.

But each one's taken flowers,
and planted where they live.
So no matter where we are,
so to is mother in our hearts,
her lilies every June.
