INHALE

The best part of this week
So far
Is seeing that he grew a beard
Went to a play
Is alive today
I inhale the smoke slowly
It is worth him
Getting to know me?

What do I have to offer
After dropping my laptop
In it's case
Off the table a few hours ago
Losing a third of my screen
Life is mean
The garden gate is slamming again
As he puts up with you, mama friend.

The stomach ache of no Prevacid
As the insurance company thinks I
Don't deserve to be pain free
It kills me that there are formularies
Thinking they know what's best
For the individual
To me they are full
Of feces
Should be blown to pieces.

Not at the pool yet today
Working on rehabilitating my right shoulder
The weights weigh little underwater
I can swim like an otter
How I do
To get a tan to get to you.

As I inhale
It could get better
I could go out in this sunny weather
Clean the chocolate stain off this swim dress
Because chocolate looks like
Something else, I guess
I don't want on me
The stuff that's stinky.

Refreshing water fill my mind
Take me back to a better time
When sun and a few beers was good enough
The days, when it was easy to be tough
When there was no pity pot
To flush the yuck away

When there was just his facial fluff
It meant the world to me

It was enough...
