At the right time God heard me,
On that day of salvation;
Giving insight for to see,
Being a new creation.
For His acceptable time,
Is the day of salvation;
Being pardoned for your crime,
Through a new foundation.
We do not give the people,
Any chance on finding blame;
On how we serve the Gospel,
And about what we proclaim.
Our lives are to demonstrate,
That we are servants of God;
And giving it to them straight,
Why we do honor and laud.
We have endured many things,
The stress and anxiety;
With the suffering it brings,
Ridicule from society.
Sleepless nights and lack of food,
The beatings and punishments;
Patient with those who are rude,
Withstanding admonishments.
People can see we are pure,
The knowledge and the kindness;
But temptations try to lure,
Into compromised blindness.
His presence is in your life,
Within the Holy Spirit;
Assisting you through the strife,
Blessing you for your merit.
I open my mouth to speak,
Having a place in my heart;
For the emotions you seek,
Must be for the Lord to start
