Winter wind By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
The winter wind rattled the windows.
The flickering fire spat in its bed.
The trees hit the woodwork, trembling, shaking
Perhaps the noises are all in my head.
The fireworks crackle and thunderstorms blaze.
The lights of the people in glowing arrays.
The sparks hit the tundra, fizzling, dying
Goosebumps arise in the smoke-dotted haze.
