Like a bright ambassador of morning,
a mops the dew
from thefloor of the forest.
Fungi nowgrows
at the speed of light.
Nuts softly drop
onto softbeds of leaves,
and wild fruit
hangs on the dangerous bushes
of ripping thorns.
The girl in the red cloak,
stands out against the backdrop
of woodland greens and browns.
Her innocence making her unaware
of roaming wolves.
Carryingher food-laden basket
she walks carefree,
to a cottage, where danger
only looms in the big eyes
and gnashing teeth...
of false relative
