Ten Years and Five Months Ago

Dad passed away on the first day of February 2005.
Leaving behind my brother and myself.
He was a giving man and a hard worker.
Worked long  hours at a job that paid pretty well but short changed him; in the end.
Dad was one to go to church and participated with the things going on at the time.
He was a greeter for a good while then they chose something else for Dad to do.
The job they gave him was to clean the church.
It was a great time for us to go for this purpose of taking care of God's house.
It was then I was learning to play the piano.
I took a long time of doing that one time with Mom laboring so hard.
This is  a regret I have for what I did to my own mother and forget about her.
Dad though was a man who clearly minded until he was found to have dementia.
Then everything changed and he got worse.
He did at nighttime leaving me to myself; in the same room.
God knew what He was doing for God never makes a mistake.
