Memories of One Christmastime With Mom and Dad

Dad and Mom had saved well one year for the holidays.
It was a time when the bills were handled and there was money left for our presents.
My brother, Ervin, and myself were looking to have a good holiday season.
We were not disappointed due to their saving all  year long.
There were over  enough monies and wishes to be happy.
For Dad and Mom supplied the monies it took for our presents.
Everything we wished was granted  which was seen to that from Mom.
Mom done the ordering and Dad did the paying which made a good team.
Joy enveloped Ervin and myself for on Christmas morning our wishes were there before us.
Mom had a heart full of love that shared with Ervin and me.
Dad laughed as he saw us open our gifts and seen the look of happiness on our faces.
God truly blessed us this particular year and every year since then.
