SUGAR ANTS AND HUMMINGBIRDS

At first it was a minor disagreement
One or two Ants invading the Hummingbird feeder
Hummingbirds confused it had been their feeder
It was indeed not another spreading Ant hill
High above the Ant hills on the ground
Ants were trying to take over the world
But the hummingbirds shared--took the other side
The sugar Ants were greedy
They soon brought an Army of soldiers
Took over the Hummingbird feeder
This is how I got involved
I am bigger than both Armies
I have no love of sugar Ants
I took down the feeders and microwaved them
This seems to have only made the tiny Ants stronger
Cleaned the inside out with vinegar
REfilled the feeder with sugar water
The Hummingbirds returned to be bossed away
But here is the problems the Ants are after me
They have invaded the living room, Kitchen, my bed
I have red welts where they have attacked me
in the night in shadows of darkness they attack
They have called out the reserves
from all over the neighborhood the Army has grown
I am really angry they stole my chocolate cookies
Mocking me by leaving crumbs and soldiers behind
I am not an evil person but I crush them with my hand
At forty seven dollars I have called for an exterminator
What frightens me he calls them his little babies
He wants only checks and cash he knows they well be back
I am looking for someone selling an Anteater
The beast had better have a big belly Ant are everywhere
Big black ants are chewing on my walls and deck
I watched Zoo the other night animals fighting humans
Long before they have control Ants and Cockroaches well rule
I am leaving a trail of sugar water to the neighbors house
He has been bringing rats in to feed on his rabbit food pellets
He has a half dozen cats to get the rats and they prefer
and easier target and are after my Hummingbirds
None of them are brave enough to take on my sugar Ants
I thought of a dog but they have fleas and I am allergic
Are Ants part of the flea family or mortal enemies?
My last dog was gentle actually we called him a friadeycat
