Life's Cycle

Water
Is clear blood
Warming our bodies
Too fragile to know its cold outside
Too senseless to realize we are frozen
And soon the sun will fall down
Smashing every hope
Hope doesn't make sense until you see
That small light flashing beneath the heart
And its entwined fingertips gripping onto
Life's last memories
But life is said to be just a moment
When you feel better than the person
Crying right next to you
Crying sometime hurts
When the tears burn right through
We wonder why so many people have red eyes
Black woven hearts and stitched up mouths
I always knew we have strong words
But how do people speak with powder letters
Smoking out from rolled up tobacco
And poison slowly melting beneath lungs
Every second of air wasted on thoughts
Of how you would die
And how you would live
Tomorrow
