Praise the Lord, O my soul,
Please praise His holy name;
I relinquish control,
As I go and proclaim.
Never forget the good,
And all that He has done;
Who forgives as you should,
The wrongs of anyone.
God forgives all your sin,
As He heals all your scars;
For a new life to begin,
Erasing all that mars.
The one who saves your life,
Fills your life with blessings;
And rescues you from strife,
Flying on eagle wings.
The Lord is fair and just,
Compassionate with grace;
Disciplines for your lust,
But ready to embrace.
He treats what we deserve,
Pays us back for the wrong;
Helping the learning curve,
So the pain is not long.
As high as the Heaven,
Is up above the earth;
As we are forgiven,
Since He knows our worth.
Regardless the distance,
The east is from the west;
He will give assistance,
When we did our best.
Fathers have compassion,
Embracing to come near;
Takes pity in fashion,
For all those who will fear.
