As I stood there, watching you walk away, out my life
I felt drained, my heart stopped beating, my breath - froze
froze even though it was high summer and I was sweating,
Yet I felt no motion, all around me had become like a kaleidoscope
full of multicolors and yet my eyes were shredding tears
of torment my soul was twisted with pain and thoughts that...
we would never see each other again, never kiss or hug one another
You turned the corner and disappeared I waited and waited
to see if you would come one last time to give me a fleeting glance
you never did, as I walked away with a sad and sanquin heart
I knew this was and would be the last time ...
