If sinners entice you,
Do not try to consent;
For they not tell you true,
And leave when you lament.
To grasp onto wisdom,
And maintain discipline;
Think about the kingdom,
You will enter within.
Understand the deep thoughts,
For the wise behavior;
To block all the onslaughts,
Disciplined by your Savior.
Righteousness and justice,
Are fairness in dealing;
While being cautious,
With an aroused feeling.
Wisdom gives the insight,
To gullible people;
Helping them see the light,
Through words of the Gospel.
When you give the knowledge,
And foresight to the young;
The truth they acknowledge,
While curbing the tongue.
A wise person listens,
And continues to learn;
While their soul glistens,
For the truth that they yearn.
A perceptive person,
Always gains direction;
So strife is not worsen,
In causing affliction.
To understand the wit,
And the words of the wise;
Take time to think and sit,
As you look through their eyes.
Value fear of the Lord,
For the foolish reject;
His wisdom is ignored,
And will have no respect.
