Praise the God and Father,
Of Jesus our Lord;
His Son our Brother,
Who is loved and adored.
He gave us a new birth,
Because mercy and grace;
Showing His love is worth,
As we feel His embrace.
We are born in new life,
Sureness which is alive;
Faith to cope through all strife,
Helping us to survive.
Born for to inherit,
And cannot fade away;
That has a perfect fit,
That helps you to obey.
It is kept in Heaven,
Guarded in a locked vault;
Salvation is given,
Through worship to exalt.
Ready to be revealed,
Upon the end of time;
When the book is unsealed,
You are judged for your crime.
You are extremely glad,
About all of these things;
Though distress made you sad,
Remember what hope brings.
Your faith is more precious,
Than any silver or gold;
Giving hope on that premise,
As your life does unfold.
Although you see not Christ,
Because of faith you love;
You see not but believe,
On the future thereof.
Joy that cannot express,
In the words from your thought;
But knowing He will bless,
The things that you have thought.
