The Word of life existed,
Ever since the very start,
Because God had persisted,
And was pouring out His heart.
But it is something we heard,
So numerous times before;
And have seen it through His Word,
Each time we open the door.
We have observed and touched it,
As this life has been revealed;
On just what we inherit,
Within the book that was sealed.
We have seen to testify,
Proclaiming eternal life;
And I can never deny,
All of the toils and strife.
This is the life we have seen,
And that we have also heard;
What is now and always been,
As described within the Word.
We are telling of true joy,
Something beautiful that waits;
Something Satan will destroy,
If anyone hesitates.
A brotherhood through the Son,
Adopted by the Father;
A relationship as done,
By the blood of your Brother.
There is joy in what I write,
And no longer will embark;
Venturing out from the light,
Into places of the dark.
For God is love and the light,
No darkness is within Him;
His glory is shining bright,
To power spiritual vim.
If we say God is within,
But in the darkness we live;
Then we lie which is a sin,
And the Father can't forgive.
