Long Is the Night

Years ago when my parents were alive there was an ominous and pendulous group of clouds that hung over our home.
The threatening rains were about ready to make themselves known.
I don't believe I had ever spent a night so long as this one.
For the hurricane came to wipe out all the power we had leaving nothing but darkness everywhere.
The coolness of the open window; in my room, made it tolerable for me to bear the darkness.
Jesus was looking down upon us and protecting us from harm.
We were there for what seemed like hours to face the darkness and each other.
Still all in all I was blessed for I was sharing it withi my parents and not alone.
Jesus is so very good to us to see the blessings He provides us makes things that seem bleak good things for they are from Him.
We should never be despondent nor should be muter to ourselves our disdain when things don't go as they ought or we think they ought.
Be happy and magnify the Lord always.
