This Pain
These feelings have been stored away
For no one to ever know about
I know they are ready to explode
I'm not ready for them to come out
My heart says it time to tell
Someone who can help with the hurt
My mind says don't do it
You just might get burnt
Please understand my words
For I have nothing to gain
Though I might finally get some relief
From this awful horrible pain
When I sit and begin to talk
I know you let me finish
You would be the person who cares
This pain you won't diminish
I will know in my heart
When the time is just right
To take the chance and speak
But I won't sleep for nights
Please listen to my words then
As I break this ball and chain
I hope to finally get some relief
