I am writing to you,
So that you will not sin;
For I am telling true,
If not corrupt within.
If anyone does sin,
We do have Jesus Christ;
That we can then begin,
And no longer enticed.
Christ has the approval,
From God our Father;
For the sin removal,
Who is our Brother.
He speaks in our place,
In front of the Father;
And asking for His grace,
Your sin goes no further.
For our debt has been paid,
And sins forgiven;
No need to be afraid,
For entering Heaven.
We are sure that we know,
Jesus if we obey;
His commandments to go,
Living every day.
You know but not obey,
Making you a liar;
Because you always stray,
For your strong desire.
The truth is not in you,
But what Christ says is kind;
For love from God is true,
Perfected for your mind.
That is how we would know,
If we are within Christ;
Living life for to show,
You could be sacrificed.
Merely live out His Word,
Complete and totally;
Follow as you have heard,
With others lovingly.
