As a general rule,
I don't write songs, I don't sing -
But just this once, I broke the law.
You're the only one who,
Will ever hear me say these words,
Not as a poem, but a song.
You are so, so beautiful, so beautiful,
I see this every moment, every day.
There's a fire in you that steals away
All the words I want to say.
You are so, so beautiful. Please stay.
I have never had someone who
I can trust as much as I trust you -
Knowing I can talk to you, boy,
I'm dancing on the moon.
You are so, so beautiful, so beautiful,
I see this every moment, every day.
There's a fire in you that steals away
All the words I want to say.
You are so, so beautiful. Please stay.
I would do anything for you -
Your happiness is all I long for -
I respect you, I adore you,
Every day I only want you more.
You are so, so beautiful, so beautiful,
I see this every moment, every day.
There's a fire in you that steals away
All the words I want to say.
You are so, so beautiful. Please stay.
You are so strong, so good, so true,
I'd give it all just to keep you
By me all the time, coming up with more rhyme.
Because I don't write songs, I don't sing.
But you make me want to.
