I welcome pain
In large amounts
Feels like everyday...
I'm trapped in a haunted house
I'm hooked on these lyrical opiates
I know that sounds inappropriate
But those are true feelings
So, if that stops u from reading...
Then this ain't meant 4 u
Cleansing is what I'm attempting 2 do
Just wanna wipe the slate clean
Y'all have every right 2 hate me
However, this storm won't wither
It'll only grow bigger
Phase 2 of a reformed sinner...
Involves takin' ownership...
Of woefulchoices that foiled a kid
Ready 4 a redo
Now I can see thru...
The fog and mist that can impede u
Butactions speak louder
Until then, I'm besieged by doubters
So I'll havta show results
Full-on assault, show some heart
No, I'm not just hatchin' rhymes
And nope, I'm not some bashful guy...
Willin' 2 let y'all cast me aside
I'm here 2 win too
Ego's been bruised
After what I've been thru...
U know I'm hittin' reset off my miscues
Jack of alltrades, but well known 4 one hustle
This "poetry" is the culmination of seein' my head and heart tussle
Susceptible 2 injury but I won't use a stunt double
I welcome pain
In large amounts
Hard 2 change the game...
When you're surrounded by doubt
Too stubborn 2 stop
Writing leaves my stomach in knots
Yet it feels wonderful 2 concoct...
New songs on a daily basis
Y'all don't understand the arrangement...
Which makes me even more elated
It ain't meant 4 u
It's 2 get me thru...
Each day, each unpredictable mood
A certifiable bungee-jump
When my brain runs amok...
I unintentionally start dumpin' stuff...
I had suppressed 4 too long
Lettin' loose is the essence of true song
And w/ so many trust issues, I'm a man of fewbonds
So this is what I confide in
I type hymns
I dive in...
Without a life vest, sharks and I swim...
In unison, that's how I feel when lights dim...
And it's just me and a notebook
Since me and my soul both hurt...
I fill pages till my ego hits a growth spurt
I welcome pain
In large amounts
Hidin' behind shame
Too thick 2 walk around
Too many missed opportunities
Guess my intellect has yet 2 hit puberty
Hung around those who would only ruin me
Setbacks and death traps somehow inspire me, musically
But eventually had 2 cut ties w/ whomever was usin' me
I don't heal as fast as wolverine...
So broken pacts abruptly struck me w/ cruelty
Grew 2 use these "rhymes"...
Since losin' friends can sometimes dehumanize
No one knew of the boon it provides
Just by scribblin' supercilious lines...
It aides in makin' internal bruising subside
Yes, this entry is obviously too long
Warned u 'bout my affinity 4 new song
Food 4 thought, guess I got somethin' 2 chew on
A former pessimist, w/ so many theories 2 prove wrong
I welcome pain

Any level's okay
Applyit now
My journey's been a mixed bag...
Of convoluted BS and riff-raff...
Which left the better part of me pitch black
Too late 4 EMTs and/or dispatch
But I got just the remedy 2 fix that
