Spending some time, in new places
Reminded of days gone by, seeing old faces
now this intro is out, so let's get in
to what these rhymes are about, shall we begin?
I don't want to come across rudely, but excuse me, could you please, look at what I see, and just think about it. Please just think about it.
I'll start out now with just a few simple questions.
hopefully building up into your own internal reflection.
Does a damaged product reflect on a creator's perfection?
is this place we live in, just a house or is it home?
is life entirely consistent of mere flesh and bone?
is it over and done when we die? Or is there somewhere to go?
spending time thinking about these things, can we ever truly know?
I talk about these things and wonder if anyone even hears me.
Do I sound like I'm rambling, or is this coming across clearly?
because when no one responds, I feel like I'm slowly disappearing.
is the message coming across about what I hold most dearly?
I don't want to come across rudely, but excuse me, could you please, look at what I see, and just think about it. Please just think about it.
And now that we went there, I'm going to just go
ahead now and ask if you think you have a soul?
if you did, would you ever feel it flow?
would showing love and compassion cause it to grow?
Honestly looking at what I just wrote,
