To taste the rain By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Just like the rain you cleanse me
and with a kiss we part from the sun
love, throw away your caveats
stand with me and come undone
The earth permeates its warm rich scent
and with a tender touch we stand
as the thunder strikes down strong
our tangled fingers entwine as you hold my hand
Like thunderclouds on summer days
absorbed and thick with our loves refrain
longing for the downpour
as we bend back to taste the rain
