Why I worry By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Here's the thing
She's pretty
She's tall, but not too tall
She's funny
She's kind
She's sweet
And she's the genetically superior sibling
You wonder why I worry about her
Taking what little I've managed to earn
It's because she's been doing
Since the day she's been born
My clothes, my time
My friends, my things
She doesn't have the self confidence
Of someone who looks in the mirror
And wonders why she exists
She doesn't have friends
That leave her after graduation
That were only staying because
"They felt sorry for you"
And she doesn't have a worry
About whether or not someone will like her
Because they always do
She's hard to resist
I'm worried only because I love you
I don't want to lose you
I don't want to push you away
She can't hang out with you without me
She can't spend time with you without me
I love you, Mister
More than words describe
More than material objects
More than money, jewels
Mister, you can fall in love
Because I know you want love me
No one ever does
Just don't fall in love
With her
