An apology to the virgin earth By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
In what may seem like an act of desperation
But considerately is one of self passionate pessimism
I've finally learned to rest my eyes upon the virgin earth
In hope that this may be a more tangible destination
Not uncommon to the liking of her fertility
I feel this is what being younger should have felt like
Given that I would have seen the opportunity this way
I find it easier to apologize to others than to myself
But more likely to apologize for others rather than myself
So in continuation with old habits I standagain
And apologize within her embrace and shelter
I apologize to her embrace and shelter
With an understanding for damages to come
I'm am sorry for myself and others once again
