My words are a fortress
Of bricks of sadness
Lonely rows and rows
Laid in hope
Pointed with love
A tower rising
From emotions
The world had no use for
Are loving shelter
For a damsel
Who will one day
Realize that in my heart
There has always existed a prince
Waiting for his moment to shine
To fall into sweet embrace
Our hearts would beat out of our chests
An answer to a long-held prayer
