Dry land By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
She grew up from a troubled try hard home
Trapped by madness in the slow lane
Hiding under turned out tables
Counting closed eyes numbers with her brother
All she knew was that their was a sickness somehow
That things were different in their living room songs
From behind their curtailed curtains
the others watched them move their stuff
And whispered from their happy on theoutside glass
It caused them to be displaced across the scattered petal earth
To never settle for a lover early or asingle place
To always try and leave before the mist would come
But her heart wasopen and her mind was sealed
Living on the waters in a world of junked up men
Sailing for so many years without the help of no one
A nomad, a gypsy, a water spirit
Waiting for a tourist to help her find dry land
