She's the tear in my heart,
The band sang like it wasdedicated to her,
They practiced hours on hours toimpress her with the three minute tune,
But as the song played she walked out,
The part most important to the band was missed by the only one that mattered,
One by one the artists stop playing,
And right before they pack up, she walks back in and insists she never left,
The band was hurt and left the scene,
All the practice was for nothing,
And as the days went on,
So did they,
They started playing for the people who stayed the entire performance,
The ones who truly cared,
They stopped believing that she was the tear in their hearts,
Because hearts are not meant to be torn,
But intended to stay intact
