Eflorescencence of the mind By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
the monster with which i am so acquainted,
rears its head in the most ponderous of times;
I would wish its maw were dripping, with bloodred eyes,
more my foe with teeth as swords- and claws would rake me
than this monster inside my mind.
it consumes the light
it throbs, and blooms to efflorescence
rising through my chest a sullen shine
of great degree, I should say, please. stop.
