I Once Was Blind But Now I See
The Quietness of My Brother Lyle Is Deafening
Some years ago we had to say goodbye to our brother and friend, Lyle B..
The Lord required his soul and his life was ended.
Today the quietness of him is deafening for there is no sign of him at all.
There is within our hearts but tangibly there is nothing to hold.
His love is emanating within my heart as I have said many times.
I feel his love comforting me and helping me along my journey.
One of these days I will be required as well leaving nothing but my poetry as my legacy.
It is hoped it will be enough to make sure that people knew I wass here on the earth and that I contributed something of wealth to the world.
Lyle leaves behind a daughter and grandchildren all precious members of society.
He leaves with Ronnie, his partner of thirty one years, a lasting love that will never die.
These are the things he has left us but his voice has been stilled so it is complete quietness that is occurring which is most deafening.
Praise the Lord for Lyle having been born and lived a good life.
I will remember his words of love to me which helped me more than he ever knew.
This is only part of who Lyle B. was.
