Mom's Determination

Mom's determination won hands down many times.
Mom was a steadfast individual who would not accept mediocre.
It was within her make up to be determined to succeed as she did most of the time.
Mom was intuitive and very thoughtful about things and people.
Mom's wishes were simple and loving as I grew up listening and learning.
I had said something hurtful one time to Mom when I was a child.
I wanted to and did ask her if she was my real mother.
Her response was  this that is forever true and rings within my ears.
Who would want you?
This was Mom's reply to the question I asked her.
We had a great relationship for a lot of years and was reunited  nine months after I had moved with  a friend.
It is a precious and loving memory of Mom's life.
For within her life was the determination that was paramount within her.
I never asked a question of this type again for I knew Mom is and was my real mother.
