When thunder rolls

Off in the distance there are signs in the air,

Nothing at first just something disturbed,

The day has been hot with the sun beating down,

Forcing energy up into mountains of clouds.

Mountains of power that roll big and large,

The world's biggest battery's about to discharge,

The flash when it comes is a deafening blow,

Heard far and wide on the land far below.

The strike is so massive, the wind is so fierce,

Combined in the heavens like Hell coming near,

Or God rolling barrels around his domain,

The thunder the portent, now here comes the rain.
