I will cry unto God,
I will cry with my voice;
A loss caused to be flawed,
So how can I rejoice.
For I was in trouble,
Loudly, I cried to God;
The burden of this rubble;
Frozen and has not thawed.
So I stretched out my hands,
I prayed without ceasing;
And what are His demands,
The weight is increasing.
For I feel neglected,
My soul feels no comfort;
I think He rejected;
But I cannot abort.
I begin to lose hope,
And so upset to speak;
Making it hard to cope,
Resolutions to seek.
I think of days of old,
And my song in the night;
Reflections that unfold,
Vivid dreams in my sight.
The visions in my dreams,
Repeat singing my song;
As if the Lord it seems,
Has lifted up the wrong.
I am feeling relieved,
The song was the answer;
With faith I have believed,
God does cure the cancer.
For the song showed the way,
How God gives my strength back;
Persevere not to stray,
And faith where I may lack.
