Life can be cruel,
It's anger you fuel,
Revenge can rule,
You comply.
You forget your role,
Dig a deeper hole,
Sell your soul,
Then lie.
Forget your friends,
Follow nasty trends,
It never ends,
You deny.
Family disappear,
They shed a tear,
It's you they fear,
Life's awry.
Pretend you don't care,
But you are aware,
You're not being fair,
You scrape by.
You have the will,
Yes it's a skill,
With a little goodwill,
You then try.
You're back in the fold,
Common sense you've enrolled,
On life you're now sold,
You feel high.
No more resistance,
You accept assistance,
You can go the distance,
