The perception of man, a figure of virtue and reason
The perception of men, vile and incapable of understanding
When men become frail and tender like the autumn season
They wither in front of the oak still standing
What if the oak shrivels in the face of comparison
His scars from laborious years under the brutal weather
What if the virtuous man is bought to nothing
When compared to the playboys and billionaires
Crushed by societal change and left with something, bitterness and resent
