Mom and The Scavenger's Hunt

Back when it was fashionable to check out the green boxes for things one could use Mom was there as well looking inside them.
One day I was there with Mom and Dad to find a $10.00 bill on top.
It was there pretty as you please and was used that day for lunch.
Mom found things as well within the scavenger's hunt.
Mom didn't feel it was beneath her dignity to do the hunting but useful for the family.
It was a time we did something together and enjoyed our experiences.
Today the green boxes are a thing of the past for they never  are available to do the scavenger hunt.
I wouldn't trade anything for my experiences there for I gained so much good things by doing this activity.
I found a big note songbook and taught myself  how to play the keyboard.
This was a result from Mom, Dad, and I going to the places where the green boxes were.
Praise the Lord for looking out for us as He did.
Jesus is to be praised and thanked for what He brought to us.
