I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Ronnie Is the Brother I Have In My Corner
I have a blood brother and then there is Ronnie J..
My own brother treats me well of course and does love me but Ronnie goes the extra mile to help me and is concerned.
I have him; in my corner, for being there to help me over the rough spots.
He is willingly there to bless my life and to have me happy I am a person.
Before Ronnie came along and his partner of thirty-one years I was thought as a non entity.
I didn't matter and calling myself a human was something so very lofty.
Ronnie helped me to see I am a person and a good one.
I don't have to wonder or worry any longer of how people perceive me .
There is much to me as a person and a writer of poetry that is in the form of free verse.
I am a caring individual that matters to many people and is loved by others.
These are the things Ronnie taught me years ago and I am much better for the experience.
Ronnie is the same toward others as he was towards me.
He makes much of the person if they don't make much of themselves.
He is a blessing God gave me and remains to be ever close to my heart and life.
