We tend to think beyond our means
As questions knock on life’s door dreamed
Seem just like that, a wishful thought
Life drawn lesson today well taught
A word if just spoken this day
A word, no three, GOD speak today
To ears longing for your direction
Spoken again to imperfection
In serving you we fail to wait
Taking the wheel of earthly fate
For far, too long, impatience came
To rob this heart, sowed seed, last grain
Yet sit we did this Sunday morn
Waiting silent with things still mourned
If just this day let your voice ring
Upon these ears, a new song sing
A new beginning to an end
Of steps to take, on you depend
For in your time not mine decreed
The winds of change near draw to me
And as the end of sermon came
I left your house with hope, longed change
As if it was to be this time
Time yours eternal, with plans divine
